Correct Care Recovery Solutions (CCRS) has partnered with the Massachusetts Department of Corrections to comprehensively manage and provide medical and mental health care, forensic mental health evaluation and treatment, substance abuse treatment and dental services to patients at Bridgewater State Hospital. CCRS is seeking qualified professionals to be part of this innovative program that will deliver care in accordance with a person-centered, trauma-informed recovery/resiliency philosophy. The Forensic Psychologist Fellowship Co-Director performs court ordered evaluations, commitment and recommitment evaluations pursuant to the provisions of M.G.L. c. 123. He/she evaluates individuals with suspected mental health difficulties around issues of competence to stand trial, criminal responsibility, aid-in-sentencing, and civil commitment related to mental illness. He/she testifies in court as needed and provides violence risk assessments and consultations to the hospital. The role of the Fellowship Co-Director is to assist the Fellowship Director in providing bi-weekly training activities and supervision to postdoctoral fellows, including all direct and indirect forensic clinical activities.
